Small Telephone Systems

Phone and voice mail systems can be costly, even for companies with a low number of users. Before investing in any type of phone system or voice mail system, you need to estimate how much your company is likely to expand over the next few years. Failure to do so could cost you or your company a lot of money in upgrade and restructuring costs during the lifespan of the system. It is more cost effective in the long term to allow for expansion at an early stage.

If you plan to remain under ten users we recommend you invest in a small business system. Most of these systems will allow connection of up to four lines, ISDN or PSTN, and six to twelve extensions. Nowadays small business systems offer many of the features that the larger phone systems offers. Be sure to check what features are available on the system and if they fullfill your requirements. Small business systems are relatively cheap compared to their larger counterparts and are easier to install, which means they can be quickly relocated in case of a move of premises.

If you require a fully featured voice mail system and predict your company will expand beyond twelve users within next few years we recommend investing in a medium sized phone system.
